This jig is designed to hold threaded or smooth rods securely while cutting, making the process much easier, especially for threaded ones. It prevents threads from being damaged like a normal vise does. Made specifically for 8mm rods but can be easily scaled for other sizes. To use, print two pieces, insert rod and bolt it to your work surface for stability.
