The Rod clip is an essential tool for wading flyfishers. While standing in a river, it allows you to take landscape photos, change flies, or release large trout without using your hands. To improve grip, attach two 2mm Crepla foam strips (15.5 x 35 mm each) using thin double-sided adhesive tape. Attach the foam strips by cutting them out, removing protective paper, and using tweezers for precision placement. For additional guidance, refer to the updated instructions from June 14, 2014, which include pictures of the foam strips. By connecting your Rod clip to a wading jacket, you can enjoy hands-free convenience during your fishing adventures.
