Rod Clasp
cults3d
This is a snap-action clasp that securely grasps a round rod. It serves as a base object: you can modify it by unionizing it with something else you want to attach to the rod, or alternatively, attach the rod itself. For instance, if you're working on a 3D printer, attaching objects to rods or needing a quick-release for a spool holder are common applications. The design is parametric, making it accessible through Customizer or OpenSCAD. To make things easier, three pre-defined designs are included: 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm. It prints as a single piece without the need for supports and requires no additional components. The clasp operates within its confines, moving freely but remaining securely in place.
