Slips neatly onto a shelf measuring one by three quarters of an inch. A strategically placed counterbored hole allows for an optional #6 screw to securely fasten it in place and prevent accidental dislodging. Simply print as many as needed to support the desired length of stock, tailoring your setup to accommodate varying requirements. As seen in the photo, earlier prototypes were slightly wider before refining the design to a 20mm width, thereby optimizing printing time. This orientation allows the printed layers to provide added strength and stability against the load being applied. I used ABS plastic, printing at 0.25mm layer thickness with a medium-light infill setting.
