Rod and Retaining Clip

<p>Reliable and simple design for rods and retaining clips that I created as part of my <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/272438-ornithopter-mechanism">Ornithopter design work</a>.&nbsp;</p><p>I've broken them out into a separate print in a common scale, as on their own they will be both quite useful for both my own designs - and hopefully for others to scale and use for their own machines! I use this at many different scales to provide 1 degree of rotational freedom to a mechanism while preventing it from slipping from a slot - all without superglue. This gets me closer to 100% printed mechanical devices.</p><p>The .stl of the rod has a regular radius of 5mm, and a length of 5cm. The .blend model has a normalized version at a radius of 10mm and a length of 100mm.</p><p>I'd love to see what you all use it for, so please post your makes and remixes that leverage it!</p>
