The MOST Delta-Athena rod alarm system is designed to detect when a critical rod is lost during printing. This system can be printed using the MOST Delta 3-D printer, which is outlined in more detail on appropedia.org/Rod_alarm. The rod box itself is modified from a standard Battery box for AA cells found on thingiverse.com/thing:331394/#files. The printing parameters used for the hook and box are as follows: - Layer thickness: 0.2 mm - Skin thickness: 1.0 mm - Top/bottom thickness: 1.0 mm - Temperature: 180C - Speed: 30 mm/s - Flow: 100% - Infill: 50% Six hooks and three rod boxes need to be printed.
