An updated version of this adapter accommodates a 4mm rod, using readily available carbon fiber rods from Hobbytownusa. The original files were designed for 3/8" rods; however, the creator utilized 5.5mm OD rods purchased online. After printing 12 adapters, insert the rods and glue them in place before adding to the main coupler that holds the magnet.
