Display surface for mounting items within a display case\nPrint Settings\nPrinter: \n DIY HobbyKing Print-Rite 3D Printer\n \n Rafts: \n No\n \n Supports: \n Yes\n \n Resolution: \n 400u nozzle 200u layers\n \n Infill: \n Honeycomb 20% Slic3r 3D\n \n Notes: \n Was built on blue tape, but does lift "toes turned up" a bit - probably needs a heated bed setup\nHow I Designed This\nThis design is procedurally generated in OpenSCAD using recursion and random numbers to sculpt flat sites for display items.\n There are several choices, but the rest is done by openscad to create the unique terrain of the display surface.\nI'll work on designing the cabinet next, with clear acetate panels and a mirrored back.\nNote: You can select where the flat-spots are in the "terrain" using coordinates in the array in the .scad file. I chose these for my items, but you can move them around simply by editing the coordinates. Sharpen or broaden the flat-spots by changing the divisor value.
