'ROCKETZ'... Interlocking Storage Stages And Fun Model

ROCKETZ are a 5 part interlocking model of a cartoon style rocket that features storage compartments in its lower four stages, with the top/capsule serving as the cap for the stage below it. The images provide additional information on this unique design. The base or largest storage capacity stage houses the engines, and each subsequent stage further up the ROCKETZ reduces in capacity. With all stages fitted, the total height of ROCKETZ measures 235mm. Be creative by printing ROCKETZ in your preferred colors or printing different stages in different hues. Each stage locks together securely by aligning the lugs with the opposing parts slots, pushing the parts together, and then rotating 120 degrees to lock them in place. This allows you to carry ROCKETZ around without worrying about it falling apart, and also enables easy access to a single stage for adding or removing items without opening other stages. ROCKETZ may take time to print, but they are well worth the effort and plastic used. The end result is a unique model that can be utilized to store away various small items such as Lego/toys, nuts/bolts/screws, electronic parts/components, and any other tiny objects you need to keep organized. All stages of ROCKETZ are designed for easy printing with no support required. A raft is recommended for the engines and capsule due to their reduced contact area with the build plate compared to stages 1/2/3. The joint clearances have been intentionally left slightly loose to ensure that most machines can print this model without issues and interlock correctly for use. If you wish to uniformly scale down ROCKETZ by 10%, it should be okay, but scaling it down further may reduce the clearances too much, causing the stages not to interlock.
