I hacked out as much of the rocket tubes' plastic content as possible, breaking it down into manageable pieces that can be printed on my CR-10 one at a time. The pieces are still quite large, but they fit easily onto my printer and should be more manageable for smaller printers. I haven't printed it out yet (it will take a lot of time and plastic), but I plan to use this for cosplay once it's done. Everything is oriented correctly for printing already, and some parts will need supports. This was just a quick fix to get the pieces onto my bed. UPDATE: I've got all the right side printed out and uploaded a picture of the three pieces held together. The only issue is that all the parts I printed were labeled Left (oops), apparently due to some dyslexic naming on my part. Since it's split down the middle, you could just mirror each file to make the whole pack complete. Either way, all the parts are there; they're just mislabeled from side to side unless viewed from the back. If anyone is annoyed, let me know and I'll fix it. UPDATE 2: I've designed a few new parts to add to this project. An upper Booster part will hold the booster in place and add some detail through the vents, while some plates will attach to the fins to give them the bead roll seen on the movie prop. I've attached a photo of everything I've printed so far and a close-up shot of a fin with the detail panel on it. All I have left to print is one of the mid pieces. Unfortunately, my last batch of filament has a defect that makes it extremely brittle and prone to breaking during long prints, so I split that last piece into two parts. I hope to be done printing in a few days, then I'll wait for my 3D Gloop to arrive so I can assemble everything. UPDATE 3: All the parts are done printing now, and I'm waiting on my 3DGloop to arrive. Once it's here, I'll glue everything together and start working on the "body work." Unfortunately, I broke all the grill pieces for the large fan while removing supports, so once it's glued up, I'll design a new vent cover that fits in the opening and blends in with the rest of the body. UPDATE 4: I've got it all glued together now. Unfortunately, most of the parts shifted during printing, leaving me with a lot of body work to do. EDIT: I added a hollowed version of the thruster pack as well. EDIT 2: I made the nose cones more screen accurate.
