Rocket
thingiverse
The featured rocket is entirely 3D printed without the need for external components like purchased rocket motors. Watch it in action here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaccnkPvd1o. To create this masterpiece, the user filled their rocket motor with 50% PLA and crafted a nose cone with 100% PLA filling. They also printed a drilling conductor (not part of the final product) using 25% PLA filling. The nozzleless rocket motor has an inner diameter of 26 mm and contains approximately 135 g of sorbitol rocket candy propellant after the hollow core, which measures 8 mm in diameter and 170 mm in length, is drilled. However, this isn't a comprehensive guide on how to make a rocket; you'll also need suitable rocket propellant and an appropriate ignition system. So, exercise caution and thoroughly research before attempting!
