A rocket, known as rocchetta in Italian meaning 'little fuse,' is a missile or vehicle propelled by a rocket engine. The thrust comes from expelling propellant within the rocket at high speed via its rocket engine. This works according to Newton's third law of motion, where action and reaction are equal and opposite forces.
