Rocket toy with pull back gearbox
thingiverse
The model takes its cues from the iconic Firebird Mk1 car. A key feature is the pullback gearbox - mine was sourced from a fellow toy enthusiast :P. As an alternative, you can fabricate your own using a tempered steel wire and attaching printed wheels. The design requires printing with PLA at 0.34 mm layer height and 15% infill, which typically takes around two hours to complete. It's been observed that this design brings joy to kids of all ages.
