Rocket Silhouette Conversation Piece!
myminifactory
While working with Open-SCAD one day, I decided a new conversation piece for my desk was in order so I designed this up using an image from the internet, the offset command in Open-SCAD and box of stand-offs from Amazon (you can get them here: http://amzn.to/2hZAvfK ). The results were rather cool and it serves its purpose all that see it mention how "different" it is! Also don't the picture stop you at three just because I did! You can do 5 or ten it's all up to you! Also if you have an idea for another "object" you would like to see done like this, please drop me a note and I will consider doing it! :-) Standoffs:Black Plastic: http://amzn.to/2hZAvfKWhite Plastic: http://amzn.to/2gM0dTSBrass version: http://amzn.to/2hFH2Ny To learn more about this and our other prints, please visit http://www.DIY3DTech.com as well check out our YouTube Channel at http://YouTube.DIy3DTech.com to learn more about 3D Printing, CNC Machining, and CO2 Laser cutting & engraving!
