The rocket ship was created using a MakerBot and constructed from clear PLA plastic. Initially, it was designed with a ring at the top, but this proved problematic when printing on the MakerBot. To achieve the final design, the 3D model of the rocket ship was scaled down to half its original size during software preparation.
