Rocket Prototype n°1 (BerryRocket Advanced type n°1)
grabcad
This is a prototype of a compact amateur rocket, crafted specifically for the passionate individual or student eager to delve into the captivating realm of rocketry. The rocket is designed with the ability to ascend to an altitude of 100 meters, a height limit permissible for private individuals in France. Its thrust is generated by a cluster of three D-P motors from Klima, a renowned provider of hobby rocket engines. The heart of its electronics is powered by a Raspberry Pi Pico, a flexible microcontroller board developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. The rocket is also equipped with a Pico 10DOF IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) plugged into it, which can accurately measure linear and angular motion. In addition, a custom-made interface board is used to ensure seamless intercommunication between the different components. Please note that a detailed explanation of the electronics will be provided in a future publication. If you're interested in obtaining the open rocket simulation files, which cannot be publicly shared on Grabcad, feel free to reach out to me via private messages.Lastly, keep an eye out for an upcoming video showcasing the test flight of this intriguing project. The prototype is more than a mere model; it's an embodiment of budding scientific exploration and innovation, a testament to the fascinating world of rocket science.CC BY-NC-SA: This license allows reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format for noncommercial purposes only, and only so long as attribution is given to the creator.
