Rocket Pen utilizes a single stage MINI Model Rocket Engine, 1/4A3-3T, and a Pilot G2 pen. The retractable pen tip is secured via rotation of the barrel, keeping the length under 6 inches. Note that most rockets don't have twisted fins, but this one does. Either instantaneous stabilization will be achieved or an erratic flight pattern will result. You are both engineer and test pilot, so be cautious. Two nose cone styles are included: research capsule and ogive. Two Fin/motor combinations are provided, each accepting a different motor size: 1.5 inch for one, 1.75 inch by .50 inch diameter for the other. A launch pad and parachute swivel are in development. Skill Level 1: Some experience is recommended. As manufacturer, proceed with caution.
