Rocket Parachute Ejection System
thingiverse
Hey Everyone! Here's the latest update on our parachute ejection system! We've repurposed black powder from a D-12 rocket motor for this project. The process works by igniting the black powder, which then generates a massive amount of pressure that propels the parachute and nose cone out. Fireworks igniters are used to initiate the combustion sequence. I've thoroughly tested 30 fireworks igniters, all of which functioned flawlessly. Check out our website at https://deltaspacesystems.wixsite.com/rockets for more information. Please note that this design is specifically tailored for 3D printing. If you're looking to create the actual cap that holds the black powder, be sure to visit Apogee Rockets.
