Rocket nozzle mold(Convergent divergent nozzle(Improved version))
thingiverse
This is a Convergent Divergent Nozzle Mold for Sugar and Potassium Nitrate Rockets. The nozzle's attachment end has a diameter of 1.55 cm. To create this mold, start by cutting the thinnest point and reattaching it with weak adhesive. Next, shape aluminum foil around the mold, wrapping it two times before cutting it. Apply epoxy to the cut area, then wrap one layer of aluminum foil. Repeat the process until you reach your desired thickness, allowing each layer to dry before removing the initial cuts. For a stronger nozzle that can be used multiple times, alternate layers in this configuration: aluminum, copper wire with epoxy, aluminum, epoxy, aluminum, tape with epoxy on top, and another layer of aluminum. Printer Settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Simple Black Supports: None Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 40% Notes: To prevent warping during printing, consider adding a skirt or pausing the process to secure it with hot glue to the bed.
