Rocket lampshade

I needed a replacement lampshade for a sconce in my son's bedroom, and after a year of waiting, I decided to take matters into my own hands by making one myself. I had my heart set on printing the Sketchup Stock Wallace Rocket design, but it proved to be more challenging than expected to create a printable shell, so I drew up my own version instead. My first attempt at creating the lampshade was met with disaster when it broke loose from the build platform during the printing process, forcing me to go back to the drawing board and add some thickness to the fin bases and bottom of the top. Unfortunately, this modification threw off the fit of the pieces, and I had to use a dremel to remove the flange from the top and print a separate ring to serve as a joint between the two. Fortunately, I've since created a set of "B" files that should eliminate the need for the joint ring altogether, but I haven't had a chance to print them yet. I also took the opportunity to add more diffusion around the lightbulb, which should help spread the light more evenly and create a softer glow. One thing I would advise is using an LED bulb exclusively - anything else may result in a serious fire hazard that could potentially burn down your entire house!
