Rocket Buzzer
thingiverse
This is a tracking device to help you locate your model rocket, based on a design by Adam Nehr and published in the March/April 2022 issue of Sport Rocketry. No soldering or messing around with epoxy is required by my design. After printing several different styles of 2032 battery holders, I settled on the one by NotSoSolid, since it seemed solid enough for this purpose. On the left is the front of the original battery holder. In the middle is the back of my first attempt to hold the battery and the buzzer, showing the "wire-wrapped" connections. In the final version on the right, I have added a bit where you can tie it to your shock cord. Mr. Nehr's excellent article is nine pages long, so you should read it for complete instructions on how to use this tracker.
