Rocker Switch Housing for 2020 Extrusion / 20mm Switches
cults3d
This compact switch case is engineered to accommodate a 20mm rocker switch and mounts seamlessly onto 2020 extrusion. The case wraps snugly around the extrusion, shielding two sides from view. It's securely fastened with a single M4 screw and t-nut, while an access hole allows for easy tightening using an Allen key. A few strategically placed holes facilitate wiring routing within the extrusion channel. Divided into two parts, the case features a removable cover that can be secured with M3 screws. The body's 2.5mm diameter holes are tapped to M3 specifications, although M3 screws can still be driven in without tapping. To assemble the case, start by routing wires through the large front hole and then position an M4 t-nut within the extrusion channel. Next, place the case onto the extrusion and insert an M4x8 screw into its corresponding hole. Align the screw with the t-nut and secure it using an Allen key inserted through the access hole. Once wired up, slide the switch into its housing. If you require multiple switches, several of these cases can be stacked on top of each other along the extrusion channel for a seamless setup.
