Rocker Rope Grab

<b>NOT INTENDED AS A LIFE SAFETY DEVICE!</b> If you've ever worked at heights, it's wise (essential) to work with height safety equipment to protect you from dangerously falling; effectively life protection. A key component in the height safety equipment is the rope grabber attaching you to your safety line. Not only do you want to protect yourself from falling far, this applies to equipment that you work with, eg. boxes, power tools. My 3D design is aimed at producing a rope grabber to attach accompanied equipment to a safety line, too. My rope grabber is optimised for use with 11mm Kernmantle rope. Lesser grade rope can compress too much under load and slip. For my strongest test, I've printed my design in Prusament Poly Carbonate Carbon Fibre and am amazed at how robust the rope grabber was; it appears indestructible. Sorry, no measurement tests to share, but a reminder that this design is not intended for people to protect themselves with! See included photos for assembly details. My print is made in PC Carbon Fibre 1.75mm Prusament gray filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 100% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer. Print supports are not required. I hope you can find this design useful, too. Remember to leave me some feedback or even a tip to keep me enthused to make more of these drawings.
