Rocker Bogie RC Mars Rover

I'm building a custom electric wheelchair for my daughter using a rocker-bogie mechanism. To get started, print out two bogies, one rocker unit, and its mirrored version. You'll also need various hardware components like M8 bolts & nuts, M5 bolts and nuts, and washers - Nyloc nuts work particularly well in this setup. Wheels and motors can be sourced from Ali Express at https://tinyurl.com/yajvvsae or Amazon at http://amzn.to/2ylYE8p. I repurposed a toy boat's battery pack, circuit board, and remote control for this project. Alternatively, you could simply connect a battery pack and switch as shown here: https://tinyurl.com/y85w3pjj. If anyone knows of an affordable DIY remote control solution, please feel free to share your knowledge in the comments below. Update: I've found a helpful tutorial on building a remote-control car that might be applicable to this project: https://diyhacking.com/remote-control-car/.
