I'm glad I decided to CAD a new pedal instead of buying or taping up the broken one like so many others. My first design was a huge success, and it works perfectly as expected. To ensure authenticity, I used all the original parts from the pedal, which were still in good condition. The magnet fits snugly into the center slot, while the orange cover screws down securely with the same screws from the original pedal.
