A clip holder for Rock Band 3 MIDI Pro Adapter is necessary when using a Yamaha DTXplorer drum kit. This accessory also works with DTXpress and other similar Yamaha kits that use a 1.5" frame. It is designed to attach to a vertical pole, fitting the belt clip rails of the adapter. The original clip can be placed on the top rail to prevent it from sliding down. The rail design allows for easy disassembly compared to the original version.
