The "starter kit" polishing barrels I got had a rubber liner in the "was" part but nothing in the "lid" part. this curious design has led to a worrying wear of the cover, which has become almost transparent. (see photo). Before it is too late, this tpu round can be glued as a "refill" for wall wear. I used neoprene contact glue, and it holds. Center it well. Of course, you can cut a record in an old glove or an inner tube to do that. Provided you have one. There, despite the simple appearance of the object, printing this part in tpu saves you measuring, tracing and cutting.
