Human-Sized Rock Tumbler Powered by a Stepper Motor and Microcontroller, minus the Typical Rollers A human prototype of an innovative rock tumbler has been successfully designed. This machine is driven by a powerful stepper motor and controlled by a highly advanced microcontroller. Unlike traditional rock tumblers that rely on rollers to smooth out rough stones, this model omits them altogether. The absence of rollers presents several advantages. For one, it reduces the complexity of the design, making it easier to manufacture and maintain. Additionally, without the need for rollers, the machine can be made more compact, freeing up space in the workshop or laboratory.
