Rock/Mineral Holder
thingiverse
I crafted this model after a metal holder used for minerals, drawing inspiration from its robust design. The internal diameter measures approximately 77mm, and the rod ends are roughly 10mm in length, allowing you to securely clamp items that are less than 57mm in size. To bring this project to life, you'll need to print the following components: 1 x Arch 2 x Rod 2 x Rod End 1 x Stand Rod 1 x Stand Base Please note that the tolerances on the screws are extremely tight. To avoid any issues, I suggest scaling down the X and Y dimensions of the rods to ensure they fit seamlessly into the other parts. For me, a 95% scale provided a loose fit. Print settings: * No supports required * Recommended print resolution: 0.2mm or finer for precise thread detail * Infill density should not pose any problems
