Hi guys, this project is now complete! You can find it here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/x224E. I used Blender for modeling the rough shape, then sculpted the details in Sculptris. Next, I exported the model back to Blender and reduced the geometry of a duplicate version. Finally, I imported this low-poly model into Substance Painter, where I baked the normal and height information from the high-poly original.
