Rock, ivy and birch (first photogrammetry test)
sketchfab
First Photogrammetry Test I made significant progress, but I still need to complete the birch model. Come back in a few weeks to see the final result. For the rock and birch: To create the high-poly models, I used 3D Zephyr's free version, processing my photos. My camera of choice was a Nikon D70 with an 18-70MM f/3.5 lens, although I'm afraid I forgot to record the specific parameters used during shooting. Next, in Maya 2018, I created a low-poly model of the birch tree. Then, using ZBrush's decimation master tool, I reduced the rock model's polygon count. After that, I baked the normal and albedo maps for both models in Substance Designer. To finalize the textures, I used Photoshop to even out the light contrasts. Finally, I corrected a few texture issues in Substance Painter, including adding a missing top section to the birch tree using the Clone Tool. For the ivy: I created everything within Maya 2018. For reference images, I searched online for leaves and branch pictures marked as "public domain." This project was part of a school assignment at the Haute École Albert Jacquard.
