Rock around the Clock, counterclockwise!!! Inspired by a vast collection of vintage 7-inch vinyls and an extra clock mechanism. Vinyl and clock face both rotate continuously throughout the day. Assembly necessitates; 1 x standard clock mechanism 1 x M4 screw (approximately 20mm long) All parts are printable on a 10mmx10mm print bed. No adhesive is required. No overhangs, ensuring all parts print with ease. Interchangeable components are available here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:571327 The arm retracts, making it simple to replace vinyl periodically. Top tip: If a printer has only one extruder like mine, simply cut and change the filament during printing to achieve color variation. This method works exceptionally well with glow-in-the-dark filament, as demonstrated in the image. Instructions Attach "Rear Arm.STL" to the clock mechanism (where a clock face would normally be placed). Secure this in place by turning. Attach "Rear Grip.STL" to the clock mechanism (where the hour hand would typically go). Place 7-inch vinyl onto the rear grip. Use "Grip Front....STL" to hold the vinyl in place. Use an M4 screw to attach "rear arm" to "Arm - Makerbot." This component can rotate into position. The "Reverse Face Hand.STL" clip attaches to the larger hole on the arm makerbot arm.
