This commissioned model was designed for an air filter housing adapter that works seamlessly with quadrajet carburetor housings, specifically tailored for the Rochester 210 carburetor. The model was meticulously created using precise measurements taken from the bottom of round air filter housings and the gasket from the Rochester 210. Unfortunately, a company called Mr Gasket once offered an adapter with part number "Mr Gasket 6400", but it is now no longer available for purchase. Due to the extremely tight tolerances on the carburetor, some post-printing cleanup and filing may be necessary to ensure a perfect fit. A 3ds max file is included, which also features a 3D scan of the Rochester gasket. Given the harsh conditions found in engine compartments, it's highly recommended to use gas, oil, and heat-resistant filaments such as PETG or Nylon for optimal results. However, PLA, ABS, and HIPS are not suitable options due to their limited durability in this environment.
