After understanding that my toilet problem was a universal issue, I thanked user jojorahu, who designed these parts. He created them on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1265780. To fix the problem for good, replace the seat front pads with the autocentering ones I've designed, which will prevent the seat from moving off-center and stressing the hinge bar. Scale your print analogously to your filament because shrinkage varies greatly from one type of filament to another. Print the middle section vertically for maximum strength. Make the two holes go through the front on the back side so you can screw in the screws. I've provided the Freecad .FCStd files, allowing you to make changes if needed. Keep in mind that I'm still learning FreeCad and my design is far from perfect.
