Robox 1kg spool using acrylic for the sides
thingiverse
I sped up making spools by choosing Dremel with circular attachment to cut two pieces of acrylic rather than printing those wings. I updated my hub to version 0.6 on July 28, 2015. Instructions: Use a jig to drill three 3.2mm (one eighth inch) holes in the center and three 3mm holes with countersinks on an acrylic sheet. Then, use the jig to adjust the circular attachment so that it cuts out the outer circle, followed by the inner circle.
