Robotic Mop (Inexpensive)
thingiverse
I'm creating a robotic mop that acts like a Swiffer WetJet to automatically clean my floors. I've been working on this project in the evenings for weeks, and I'm almost done with the body design, but now my printer controller has stopped working. My To-do list: * Develop motor mounts * Print parts to create a proof of concept (which means I need to fix my printer) * Finish writing code for Arduino * Solve the power issue - maybe using USB Type C to get 3A instead of 2A * Develop a sprayer to upgrade from dry-mop to wet-mop Non-Printed Parts ($35-50 estimated): * Stepper Motors $11.99 * Arduino Uno $10.90 * IR Sensors $9.99 * A piece of Plexiglass and Velcro to mount mop pads * USB Battery Pack (not yet selected)
