Ongoing Project: Arduino Code is Now Available! This is the final design I achieved after completing a school project in Romania. I would like to express my gratitude to Diana Popescu for her assistance. Specifications: * A human-sized robotic hand, designed and sized based on my own hand measurements. * 6 degrees of actuation and 2 degrees of actuation for the thumb. * The robotic hand weighs approximately 425 grams. * Each finger has separate actuation capabilities, allowing for various hand gestures such as rock, aloa, middle finger, or closed fist. * The robotic hand is powered by 6 servo motors, all located within the palm. Bill of Materials (BOM): * 6 servos (9g each) with screws * Elastic strings (1.5 meters long) * Textile fishing ropes (1.5 meters long), at least 1kgF resistant, and non-nylon * A 3D printer with a 0.2mm accuracy setting * An Arduino Uno or Nano microcontroller board * A 6V power supply with a maximum current of 2A (although 1A is sufficient for control) Tools Required: * A screwdriver * A pair of scissors * A drill with a 1mm drill bit Download CAD files to modify or STL files to print. Feel free to improve upon this design and contact me if you achieve any significant advancements! License: Creative Commons, Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike.
