
Robotic Flex Gripper Dual Material

The primary objective of this project is to enhance the basic and straightforward robotic flex gripper, making it more effective and efficient. The flexible gripper itself is 3D printed in one piece using a flexible filament material. Following printing, cables, a servo motor, and screws are installed, and the gripper should be fully operational and ready for movement. We then attempted to 3D print the flex gripper with multiple materials combined. The bottom section is made from a flexible filament like TPU, while the rest of the structure consists of a cost-effective rigid filament such as PLA or ABS.
