Robotic Eyes for YoLuke Webcam Cameras
thingiverse
These are two servo motor controlled eyeballs designed for use with YoLuke webcams, though the eyeball component can be easily modified for most small cameras. Check out this video for a detailed explanation and build instructions: https://youtu.be/DY4as7Lc9KY. To facilitate changes to the eyeball design for other cameras, I've included the Blender file (https://www.blender.org/) which allows for easy modifications. This new version was developed by starting with my eye structure for a Pi Camera 2 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3023833), but it's optimized for use with YoLuke webcams instead. The goal was to create a more compact design that can fit inside a human head, as the previous version had some orientation issues. Unfortunately, swapping in different eyeballs with different cameras isn't feasible without modifying the Blender file due to the circuit board constraints of the Pi Camera.
