Robotic Christmas Teapot, affectionately known as Robotic Christmas "Treepot" by my wife, is a motorized, animated Christmas-themed teapot that's sure to captivate audiences of all ages. The animated mechanism boasts three axes of rotation: pitch (the spout), yaw (the handle), and roll (the body), plus a wobbling circular travel path. It's powered by a 3.7VDC 100MA LIPO battery driving an N20 6VDC 100RPM gear motor, which consumes around 8MA during operation. So why a teapot? In my early days of designing 3D graphic engines for video games (https://youtu.be/_gbwNLutr_4) and avionics applications over forty years ago, the humble teapot was always the go-to model for testing CGI/graphic engine rendering speeds. To honor those design days, I revived my trusty teapot model in 3D print. I must admit that I probably forgot a file or two - or who knows what else - so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. After all, I make plenty of mistakes. This model was designed using Autodesk Fusion 360 and sliced with Cura 4.4.0 before being printed in PLA on an Ultimaker 3 Extended and an Ultimaker S5. One final note: I receive no compensation whatsoever for the design, equipment, parts, or materials used in this model.
