thingiverse
This affordable 6 DOF robotic arm prototype is 3D printed using free software like OpenScad and Inkscape, with assembly instructions and necessary files provided in "robot arm printable.rar." View its functioning through these YouTube links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnvWSHTnrqo&feature=plcp and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNnTyrpuFUY&feature=plcp. The Spanish guide for controlling and calibrating the robotic arm is included in "Guide,PCB_and_control_programs.rar." Arduino UNO handles hardware control, with multiplexed signals requiring a PCB created using OrCAD Layout to OrCAD Capture CIS. Another partner has developed a simulator for three modes of functionality, one with gamepad control; contact CarlosRZambrana to get the files. The gripper can be downloaded from Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7109).
