Human: Robotech RRT Mod., United Earth Government Army of the Southern Cross Spector Jet Interceptor. The vehicle stats can be found in the link below. https://robotech-rpg-tactics.fandom.com/wiki/Custom_Game_Cards LOD 0? LEVEL OF DETAIL 0: This 3d Image is a work in progress, struggling with realistic wings. If printed for 1/285th scale, it should look acceptable, but this aircraft will be my test bed for more advanced surface techniques. Is it a Veritech? In the animation, the Spector Jet Interceptor never transforms, yet it's referred to as a Veritech. Reviewing materials for the 3D image reveals reason to believe that this aircraft was indeed a Veritech or at least a VTOL Engine test for a Veritech. It could be that the aircraft was deemed unsafe for transformation and the battloid and/or guardian mode was disabled for safety reasons, with the commanding officer circling a red "x" when the Robotech Masters showed up. During Role Playing, this may be expressed by the UN REF holding materials for a MWO from the Robotech Factory to the UEG ASC over suspicions or an argument, faulty engineering, or pilots lacking proper certification. The UN REF absorbed most or all pilots qualified on transforming mecha during the time period of the Robotech Masters showing up. It's also possible that the aircraft was mass produced prior to the UN REF leaving and the Tactical Air Force is just getting used to them when the Robotech Masters arrive. The T.A.F. may have given a standing order to zoom in, hit your target, and speed out rather than get caught up in a ground war, with speed being key to survivability not transforming and getting bogged down under enemy fire. 16March2019 Head unit added to underbelly. After finding information that the Spector or Sylphid had an under-slung turret, it has now been added. The old file may be uploaded again for people who want the turret hidden or not attached at all. The unit looks like a VF1 head with side lasers. It is also possible: Spector X (VF4-Alpha hybreed test aircraft) Spector G (grounded) - 001 Status prefix Status prefix is an optional prefix not often used for vehicles in regular service. If used, it's the first letter in the MDS. Authorized current status prefixes are: C - Captive: Only used for rockets and missiles designed to be carried in their launch environment but incapable of actual launch. D - Dummy: Only used for rockets and missiles which are non-flying, primarily for ground training. G - Grounded: Applied to aircraft permanently grounded, most often used for ground training of crews and support. This is only applied as a permanent designation. Use is rare. J - Temporary Special Test: Applied to craft involved with special testing of temporarily installed equipment. The J Prefix is used for aircraft that can be reasonably returned to their original configuration following tests. N - Permanent Special Test: Applied to craft involved with special testing on a permanent basis, with modifications to their configuration making return to original configuration impractical. X - Experimental: Applied to craft not yet accepted for service or prototypes for which standard configuration has not been finalized. Y - Prototype: Originally applied to demonstration craft where configuration had been determined, but from the 1970s on applied to all prototypes of aircraft intended for production. Z - Planning: Applied to designs in the planning/pre-development phase.
