Robotech ORBOT changer (Valkyrie)

This is a work still in progress. Before proceeding with printing, I recommend watching my YouTube video to ensure you're on the right track. Just an update on 6/20/20: The files for the landing light lenses and a fixed wing surface have been uploaded, along with a few tweaks to part 36;31 inbd R2. You can find the YouTube video here: https://youtu.be/MYdi06LypYg This model is based on the Revell kit. All parts are drawn to match the kit's dimensions, and I'm printing them out three times larger than normal. Most of the parts have been designed, with Sketchup files and STL files included for your convenience. However, some parts require a mirror image, which will be labeled in pairs (e.g., 37 is the same as 36). You'll need to print part 37 and then mirror it to get part 36. Be aware that parts 37/36 have undergone revisions, so you should only use the revised versions. I've included a ZIP file with all the instructions, so you can easily access them. The canopy files are also included in various sizes (slightly oversized, undersized, and normal) for your convenience. I plan on vacuum forming the canopy myself, but feel free to print it or cast it as needed. As I build this project, I'll be adding YouTube videos to showcase my progress. Keep in mind that some parts may not fit perfectly, so you might need to sand, file, or modify them to get a smooth finish. The bushings are being printed with ABS plastic, the tires with Ninjaflex, and everything else is made from PLA. Some parts have been designed as two separate pieces to make printing easier, which will then need to be glued together. Thanks for taking a look, and good luck with your project!
