Robotech Masters Zentran Cloning: As the Zentran Fleets were conceptualized, the first series of clones are "A" Batch, manning the First Fleet. With each subsequent fleet, as the cloning process is refined, improved, and repeated, the identifier changes to "B", indicating the next series of clones. The original core clone DNA data consisted of 100,000 configurations, grouped into Commanders, Thinkers, Technicians, and Soldiers. From these types, a specific specimen is selected for each class ship and position, repeated across the fleet. Consequently, it's common to encounter the same class person on each ship, but as a fleet operates over time with terminations and heroism, the typical ship becomes a mixture of personalities.
