I chose this robot as part of an educational project to teach programming. The selection took into account various factors, including the quality of the original design, the final dimensions of the robot, the available control software and its adaptability to specific educational content, among others. To meet some of the requirements of the project, changes have been proposed in the structure, electronics and firmware. The parts are based on the initial design by Florin Tobler (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1718984), other ideas proposed by Francis Ng (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2040526), Leo Yeung (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3328354) and needs specific to the project in which the Brazo Robot will be used. For the gripper, I took as an idea the design of Papa Bravo (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2661755).
