Robot3

I've Built Three Robots Already, And This One's Still a Work in Progress! It needs more work on bumpers and I'm thinking of swapping out the library to Python's Canvas, as it might just do the trick. Oh, and you know what would be super cool? Adding a TFT lcd screen for starting, stopping, and maybe even some fancy functions. As for the build itself, it can totally be mirrored to make sure I get all sides just right, and that jointy bit that joins the halves together is actually really customisable, depending on your size requirements. Some of the components include: Arduino Uno, Raspberry Pi A+, ultrasonic ping sensor, two button sensors, Sharp IR distance sensor, and a Seed Studio motor shield - nice and solid! As for encoders? Nope, thanks. I had some trouble with those in my last few projects, mainly because they needed to account for any carpet that might get in the way, and then there's the issue of one wheel just not wanting to stop spinning, throwing off all my SLAM mapping - ouch!
