Robot toilet paper holder
myminifactory
What can I say, it's a robot-shaped toilet paper holder made from three distinct parts - the robot itself, the wall plate, and the rod. The model is designed to be printed without support, except for the body which has built-in supports that eliminate the need for additional material. The body should be printed lying on its back, with three lines of support material that can be removed in the wall plate slot at the bottom. This ensures there are no problems with sagging due to bridging, thanks to the extra clearance provided. In addition, supports are also needed below the arms and inside the hands, but no additional supports are required. The wall plate should be printed wide part down, as it doesn't need any support whatsoever. Finally, the rod is best printed standing up with the wider ring on the bottom - if your printer's z-axis is long enough to accommodate this orientation. It's a good idea to test-print a small part of the rod and see if it fits inside the hand, as it can be a bit tight and might require scaling if your printer is calibrated differently than mine. Everything can be printed on the same bed with the same settings, but I think it looks better if the rod is a different color. I printed everything in PLA using 0.2mm layer height with 5% infill and 1.2mm shell - except for the rod which I accidentally printed with 0.4mm shell, so I'll reprint it if it breaks.
