Robot
thingiverse
The robot was crafted from reclaimed wood and assorted components salvaged from an old K'Nex set. Included are both STP and STL files, along with detailed drawings for anyone seeking to build their own. Build Instructions can be found at https://www.instructables.com/id/Wood-Robot/. For movement, the head, hands, feet, and hips rotate in a fluid motion. The arms and legs boast two rotating joints each, allowing for a wide range of motion. A video showcasing my kids' creation of some impressive robot dance moves can be viewed at https://youtu.be/ozM4ms8-kP4.
