More Ways to Expand Your Meccano Erector Models and Projects Building Robot Projects with Ease I discovered Meccano Animal models online, so I created my own parts today and built my own models. Obviously, you'll need erector parts, including 3mmx20mm bolts and nuts, to build models using these printed parts. Parts include the Snake Tube and Connector Tube. Currently UNDER CONSTRUCTION * Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Mendel Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2mm - 0.8mm Nozzle Tips Notes: I printed these on a Mendel RepRap with 1.75mm fibre, using a 0.8mm Nozzle Tip and 0.5mm Layer Height setting. Any tip from 0.2mm to 0.8mm should work fine. It took between 3-10 minutes per part to print. Parts may be a little thin and fragile - so handle them with care when removing. Post-Printing Parts may have burrs and need filing to finish. How I Designed This I saw Meccano Animal models and decided to design my own parts. Used TinkerCad.
