Robot
thingiverse
In my initial solo project, I crafted a blue robot using MakerBot. To design it, I utilized Inventor and created individual pieces including the body, head, two legs, and two arms. The body dimensions were 0.75 inches by 1.5 inches by 0.5 inches with a neck shape extrusion of 0.3 inches in diameter. Proportional to the body, I designed the arms and legs. For the head, I created a rectangle measuring 1.2 inches by 0.9 inches, extruding it 0.6 inches, and added two circles with 0.1-inch radius and an inward-extruded rectangular mouth of 0.5 inches. The files were saved as .ipt and .stl; the STL files were transferred to the Thing-O-Matic's computer via a flash drive. Printing all parts took approximately an hour and 45 minutes. Finally, I assembled the robot using acrylic glue for the joints.
With this file you will be able to print Robot with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Robot.
